LTA awarded the construction of Bedok South Station and tunnels from Thomson – East Coast Line to China Jingye Engineering Corporation Ltd (Singapore Branch). This involved the construction of the structure of the station, as well as its associated tunnels.

China Jingye Engineering Corporation Ltd (Singapore Branch) has previously completed a number of residential projects, as well as a number of local projects namely Universal Studios, Singapore and Resorts World Sentosa.

Jenmon was then appointed by China Jingye Engineering Corporation Ltd (Singapore Branch) to design, supply, deliver, install, test and commission 1 unit of 40 ton Gantry Crane.

The gantry crane’s span and total hook height were 30m. Due to the fact that Jenmon had already done many past projects with cranes of longer spans and hook heights, we were extremely confident in undertaking this project.

As all our customers understand the importance of safety and quality equipment, they are very forthcoming with us performing monthly maintenance, ensuring that the whole process runs smoothly. They also willingly signed up for the ‘Crane Operators Training’ regarding the usage of safely operating a Gantry Crane.
