TAISEI-CSCEC Joint Venture – Contract CR105, Cross Island Line

Contract CR105 covered the design and construction of a bored tunnel between Aviation Park Station and Loyang Station, launched from a dedicated launching shaft. For this stage of the works, the TAISEI-CSCEC Joint Venture turned to Jenmon to supply 1 unit of a 50-ton double girder gantry crane, spanning 17.9m plus an 8m extension, engineered to suit the shaft’s tight working footprint and the demands of tunnel-boring logistics.
