PSA Megayard Port
In 2023, PSA added 2 more cranes to those installed at PSA Megayard port in 2020:
- Supply of 1 unit of 20 Ton × 9M HOL JENMON-VERLINDE Double Girder Overhead Crane and 1 unit of 15 Ton × 9M JENMON-VERLINDE Single Girder Overhead Crane, installed onto the existing structures.
Tengah Garden Avenue / Tengah Boulevard — Public Housing Development
Public housing development comprising 7 blocks of 16-storey, 2 blocks of 15-storey, 4 blocks of 14/16-storey, 2 blocks of 11/16-storey, 1 block of 11/14-storey, and 2 blocks of 9/12-storey residential buildings (2,135 units total); 1 block of 7-storey MSCP with roof garden; 1 block of 6-storey MSCP with roof garden; plus commercial, social/community facilities, ESS, bin centre, precinct pavilion, and common green. The project was awarded to Obayashi Singapore Private Limited in 2022.
Obayashi Singapore Private Limited awarded JENMON the supply, delivery, installation, and commissioning of 3 units of 32-tonne gantry cranes with a span of 29m, HOL of 18m, and travelling distance of 150m. These cranes are equipped with load display and datalogger.
Cross Island Line (CRL)
The Cross Island Line (CRL) will be Singapore’s longest fully underground line, at more than 50 kilometres. It will serve existing and future developments in the eastern, western, and north-eastern corridors, connecting major hubs such as Jurong Lake District, Punggol Digital District, and the Changi region.
Phase 1
CR105 — Awarded by the Land Transport Authority (LTA) to a joint venture between Taisei Corporation and China State Construction Engineering Co. (CSCEC). The contract involves construction of a large-diameter single-bore tunnel between Aviation Park and Loyang stations.
The Taisei Corporation–CSCEC JV project required JENMON to design, supply, and install a total of 5 cranes:
- 1 unit of 50T gantry crane, 17.9m span with 8m cantilever, Double Girder Gantry Crane, for tunnelling works
- 2 units of 20T × 21.5m span Double Girder Gantry Cranes, for precasting purposes
- 2 units of 15T × 26m span Double Girder Overhead Cranes, for precasting purposes
CR112 — Hougang Interchange
Awarded to Samsung C&T on 26 March 2021, for construction of Hougang Interchange station and connecting tunnels. Hougang station will feature a paid-transfer link to the existing North East Line (NEL) station, likely connecting at concourse level near the existing Passenger Service Centre, leading to around the mid-point of the CRL station concourse where passengers can descend a level to the CRL platforms.
JENMON supplied 2 units of 50T × 19M span Double Girder Gantry Cranes to this project. Within a short span of 12–18 months of crane usage, the project was completed smoothly and safely. The gantry cranes provided the customer with high productivity and efficiency in completing the project.

CR115
LTA awarded CR115 to Sato Kogyo for the design and construction of Tavistock Station and tunnels between Ang Mo Kio Street 42 and Serangoon North Avenue 1.
JENMON supplied 2 units of 40T × 13.2M + 5M span Double Girder Gantry Cranes.
Phase 2 (CRL2)
CRL2 is approximately 15 kilometres and comprises 6 underground stations: Turf City, King Albert Park, Maju, Clementi, West Coast, and Jurong Lake District. The Environmental Impact Study for CRL2 has been completed, and the reports are available for public feedback.
The 7.3-kilometre CRL–Punggol Extension will provide a direct link for commuters travelling between eastern areas (Pasir Ris, Tampines North) and north-eastern areas (Punggol, Sengkang). Construction is expected to commence by end 2022 and be completed by 2032.
CR202
Obayashi–STECS JV awarded 2 units of gantry cranes to JENMON International:
- 1 unit, 50T, span 30 + 8.5 + 8.2m, Double Girder Gantry Crane
- 1 unit, 40T, span 30 + 10.5 + 8.2m, Double Girder Gantry Crane
- Runway rail
- Cable reel
These cranes are uniquely designed with long cantilevers on both sides, allowing customers to use them effectively and efficiently.
North-South Corridor (NSC)
The North-South Corridor (NSC) is a multi-modal transportation corridor that will enhance connectivity from the northern region to the city, serving towns such as Sembawang, Yishun, Ang Mo Kio, Toa Payoh, Novena, and Rochor. It will help relieve traffic along Singapore’s north-south transportation axis and support new developments along the corridor.
The NSC is expected to be completed in phases from 2027. The viaduct portion, from Admiralty Road West to Lentor Avenue, is targeted to open in 2027; the remainder, comprising a road tunnel from Lentor Avenue to East Coast Parkway (ECP), is targeted for 2029. The surface streets will then be repurposed to prioritise walking, cycling, public transport, and community spaces.
LTA awarded the design-and-construct contract for a stretch of the NSC to the Penta-Ocean Construction Co Ltd–Bachy Soletanche Singapore Pte Ltd Joint Venture (Penta-Bachy JV), covering a 1.04km stretch of tunnel and commuter facilities — including an underground pedestrian network, pedestrian overhead bridges, bus stops, sheltered walkways, and cycling paths — between Suffolk Walk and Novena Rise.
JENMON was appointed to undertake the supply, design, and installation of 2 units of 30-tonne and 36-tonne gantry cranes along Novena Road, a highly dense area with heavy daily traffic flow — installation of the gantry cranes could therefore only be carried out in the early hours.
JENMON was glad and honoured to work with Penta-Bachy JV, a team of professionals, to successfully complete the installation of both gantry cranes safely and on schedule.
